Software papers

Please note:
The deadline for paper submissions is over!

Special software demonstration sessions will be organized for those having original research software, application software or educational software to demonstrate. The presentation of the software will comprise posters and demonstrations at the conference site. Software contributions include a paper in the `software paper' category. Potential authors for software contributions are kindly requested to contact Reimar Schumann (member IPC and organizer of software sessions) to have their contribution scheduled in an appropriate software session. All contributors in this category are requested to submit via the SYSID symposium website a short abstract of at least 2000 words including a description of the software functions and the hardware requirements. The submissions will be forwarded to Reimar Schumann and will be reviewed by the International Program Committee.

How to submit

All software session contributions should be submitted in electronic format, as a single file. The requested format for electronic manuscripts is portable document format (PDF) or Postscript (PS). Papers should be submitted on-line using your web browser. If you have difficulty in generating or delivering electronic manuscripts, please contact the IPC secretariat by email for technical support.

The steps you must perform in order to submit a paper are

Step 1 Contact Reimar Schumann to have your contribution scheduled in an appropriate session.
Step 2 Follow the instructions for authors to prepare your paper.
Step 3 Generate a PDF or a Postscript file.
Step 4 Fill and submit the software paper submission form.
This form is also used to deliver your electronic manuscript.

After submission

If properly processed, your submission will be acknowledged by email, providing you with a Paper Identification Number to be used for any further inquiries and correspondence about your submission. In addition your submission will be forwarded immediately to Reimar Schumann, who will organize the software sessions at the SYSID Symposium. If you need to make changes to your submission or your paper registration data, please contact the IPC secretariat by email.
